Wir haben den Platz schon einmal vor ein paar Jahren besucht. Damals haben wir ihn eher zufällig gefunden. Es hatte uns damals so gut gefallen, dass wir den Camping Lido in diesem Jahr auf jeden Fall besuchen wollten. Leider war es nicht möglich, für einfache Camper im vorhinein eine verbindliche Buchung vorzunehmen, jedenfalls nicht bei den Adressen, die wir im Internet gefunden haben. Als wir ankamen, war der Platz auch schon recht voll, so daß wir um Haaresbreite (mit zwei Zelten und zwei Autos) doch Pech gehabt hätten. Als Anregung würde ich mir daher wünschen, dass eine Reservierung auch für normale Zelter möglich gemacht wird. Excursion tips: Orvieto, Rom u.v.a.m.

Actually enjoyed good with everything. The location is fine and otherwise I find the great lake of Bolsena and the surrounding area.
Außnahme are the long journey home to the toilet and the few water supply for drinking water and wastewater facilities.
Here I find the way but always very far.
At least a few more water stations should there be on the pitch. The new toilets are good, but one for the whole place is still far away for most courses.
We had a super pitch in the second row to the lake. Thanks be to God was not so much going on, otherwise it's getting a little tight on the beach.
Too bad that the fish Tratorria on the way to the place Bolsena no longer exists. alone that was many years ago when we were the last time as an international venue. Excursion tips: Rom, Sienna, Pitigliano, Orvieto, Civita die Bangoregio

Those who do not necessarily want to turn night into day at Camping Village Lido
good hands. The place is big, but manageable created. For the number of guests also relatively quiet. For our RV, we could easily show a correspondingly large space.
The lake itself shows us the 1 Place. Black sand beach, not very large, but sufficient, clear warm water of drinking quality.
Great advantage of our bikes have been brought because the space is about 2 km from Bolsena. The use of public transport is hopeless. In the vicinity there are plenty of Cultural History, where a car is advantageous. Our experience was top-Rome Camping Village with the "Taxi" to Montefiascone and further back by train to Rome Termini (about 1 1 / 2 hr) and.
German is hardly spoken, with English to get by well. The supermarket
We were overpriced. The sports we can not judge, not used since. By the evening's entertainment you can not expect too much. Our conclusion: A tip for those who want to spend a leisurely family vacation at the lake with a bit of culture - we will certainly come back. Excursion tips: Orvieto, Rom

positives: great site, well maintained, clean toilet facilities, beautiful beach, lake water very pleasant (the children stayed for hours), plus it has the sun until sunset magnique it on peite hill facing the lake. Very nice location close enough because of Bolsena in order to walk a little way along the lake and 20 minutes away from the main road (it does not sound).
Possibility to rent a bathroom (12 EUR / day)
Animation noisy 1X/semaine Wednesday
minuses: pay showers, pay pool (but comfortable pool area), small sites (as often in Italy) about 60m2.
Conclusion: if you agree to pay the price (with supplements) and take two slots have space, you'll get your money because it is a very nice campsite frequented mostly by Italians, from the Netherlands in second.

This campground is beautifully situated directly on the lake. The pitches directly at the lake, however, are very small, we were in the low season and there it was OK.
Unfortunately we were not arriving at the station that you pay extra for showers must. Once duschen, about 4 minutes cost € 0.50. There is no place directly on the water supply. The stream is very low, the coffee boil, boil water, etc. must be off the refrigerator. To wash the dishes, there is no hot water only 4 (!) Sink with hot water. On the website it was noted that with a credit card can pay for your stay. That is not true, the stay can only be paid in cash!
But there are also positive aspects, the wash-house is very clean and maintained, and the place is well maintained. The staff at the supermarket and at the front desk is polite and courteous, but no one speaks German.

Who likes paying extra for everything here is true.
Even the resort swimming pool will cost Own entrance.
Not only beach shower or else an opportunity during the day without the coin to take a shower, not even cold.
Water and sanitation is only available at the wash house.
Also the readiness assistance / courtesy of the staff leaves something to be desired.
It can also be nice and neat wash house (which incidentally, to towel hooks missing) not hinwegtrösten.

The Camping Lido Camping Village is very nice and is absolutely in order. The lake is super clean and ideal for swimming, water skiing, surfing etc.. The environment is typical of many Italian cities to look nice (Montefiascone, Orvieto). The road to the sea (Capalbio) is about 70 km away and offers a beautiful, unspoiled beach. We are determined once again to the region and specifically referred to the campground road.
