Camping centrally and beautifully located at the confluence of the Saale and Unstrut. An ideal starting point for bicycle and boat tours. Sektkellerei with bike Rotkäppcehn is also easy to reach. Excursion tips: Saale / Unstrut

The campsite we liked. If you're hungry, you should not go to the park, because it takes an hour before you get your food. It tasted good, but unfortunately it was the next day took so long. The operation was a bit overwhelmed. Too bad!

Our first visit in former DDR

This was our first visit to the eastern Germany. We came from a trip round in southern Europe and stayed one night here.We liked the place, the staff gave us good service, the weather was good ( over 30 C at 20.00 this summer evening ) and we spoke with some nice people from eastern Germany which had the tent next to us.
But the next morning we wake up very early by very, very loud orders from the loudspeakers : " Everybody to the swimming pool ! Time to morning bath ! " in German, with a voice which could make anyone remember what it is like doing the military service...
After this terrible way to start the day , the rest of the stay her was very good, and we would like to come back.
If the colonel in the loudspeakers is retired....:-)
