Als wir kürzlich zurückkamen aus dem Urlaub vom Villa Garuti.
Ich hatte schon gebucht als ich die negativen Kritiken gelesen hatte. Ich war sehr besorgt. Stattdessen hatte ich einen tollen Urlaub und ich war angenehm weberauchst.
Die Wohnung war geräumig und komfortabel. Nichts war gebrochen. Das Bad war gut. Die Küche war neue und ok.
Die Aussicht war wunderbar und die gesamte Anlage war schön und sauber.
Der Strand wurde jeden Morgen gereingt.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und immer für Fragen und Wünsche.

sono stata nel villaggio una settimana a luglio con mio marito e devo dire che ci siamo trovati benissimo.
Abbiamo alloggiato in un appartamento fronte lago, una vista magnifica. La mattina facevamo colazione a 2 m dalla spiaggia. Fantastico. L'appartamento era accogliente e pulito, e c'era tutto quello che serviva. Il villaggio e piccolo e molto tranquillo, un'oasi di tranquillità. relax totale.
Per informarvi, c'è la piscina, mai utilizzata, preferivo il lago, il bar ristorante, dove c'è il pane fresco al mattino, fermata battello proprio davanti.Vicino a desenzano, ottimo per la sera.
Il villaggio è molto curato e pulito, lo consiglio a cchi cerca un angolo di pace e scenari bellissimi. Ciao

I went with my family. We stayed for 2 weeks at Camping Villa Garuti and booked a 3 rooms apartment overlooking the lake.
The location is pretty good with it being right on the shore of the lake.. Fantastic campsite, excellent base for exploring the lake, Verona and visiting Gardaland etc.
We had easy access to the local facilities only a 10 minute walk away from camp. Set in a beautiful town it has a brilliant location.
The reception staff are very helpful and kind.
Lake Garda is a fabulous location. The site restaurant was of good quality.
To be honest it was lovely and quiet for us. No noise after about 11pm at all.
In all myself and my family had a great stay at Camping Villa Garuti and we would definitely return.

Wir sind nun schon zum zweiten mal auf diesem Platz gewesen. Er ist wunderschön gelegen. Diesmal hatten wir sogar einen Platz am See und die Kinder freuten sich über den neu angelegten Pool. Der Strand ist sehr schmal und für die Kinder nicht so geeignet. Man kann sich auf diesem Platz einfach wunderbar erholen.
Was leider nicht ganz so schön ist, sind die Sanitären Anlagen, besonders bei den Männern.
Die Besitzer sind immer freundlich gewesen und hatten für Probleme immer ein offenes Ohr. Wenn es mal etwas zu laut wurde, so hat man die betreffenden zurecht gewiesen.
Der Platz hat eine sehr angenehme Grösse und die Aussicht ist wunderschön.
Die Pizzaria ist auch nicht schlecht.
Ich kann diesen Platz jedem empfehlen, der Erholung sucht.
Leider ist der Platz 2012 verkleinert worden und es gibt keine Plätze mehr mit Seeblick. Schade! Excursion tips: Salo' und Desenzano

Dealing friendly, at first glance all a dream, and for a family with children (6, 14 and 17) simply too quiet. Car is urgently needed. The rude awakening came to us very quickly. The men's toilets were cleaned once during our stay visible nich. Feces and vomit stuck remnants visible on the walls. The ladies toilets were in a somewhat better condition and were cleaned at least sometimes. The beach looked even better, apparently took place some time cleaning any more, so there were dead fish and dog droppings there, in addition to other rubbish. After a week of this condition was no longer tenable for us and we then switched back to the fun side of Lake Garda. Since we had already paid for 14 days in advance, was set off at the reception until we got no money back. For our boat we had booked in advance, a buoy and paid them well on arrival. Upon departure, the fee would then be only for the trailer and not for the buoy. The harbor master should be additionally compensated for those already hired buoy. I call that abzocke. This money was then released after some discussion, but in order that the harbor master for his work, which was absolutely fine could be paid. So absolutely no clear structure, opaque accounting and, above all, dirty, unacceptable sanitation, more expensive than other campsites on Lake Garda, whose performance is significantly better condition. Very sad for the week and gave away the money. Incidentally, the place is recommended by the ADAC, now happy to know when was the last exam. Thanks! I just returned from my holiday at the Garda Lake. I found the camping on your site, I liked it very much and I decided to book a chalet, which looked pretty nice in the fotos on the website. I wrote them an e-mail, a chalet was available and I had to pay in advance 200 euros + 40 euros bank comission, as they didn't accept payment by credit card.
We arrived at the camping 2 weeks ago. It looked fabulous. It was so nice that I fell in love with the camping. It look just like in the fotos of their website. We arrived at the chalet - it faced the sea and I was excited about the beautiful view.
We went in. First disappointment: there weren't any closets just 2 very narrow closte -like things. No problem I said, we will survive without closets, we will keep the things into the bags.
Second disappointment: toilet was dirty and as i flushed it, the water didn't stop, iit just flushed continuously. I made it stop after about 3 minutes of trying. Ok, no problem, things like that happen. I started to unpack my things. Meanwhile, my husband went to take a shower and I heard him scream. I went into the bathroom, there were spider all over the ceiling of the bathroom. I looked in the bedroom an kitchen - spiders everywhere. Big, black spiders... :(
I went to the reception, the lady there said that the maid will come and clean up. The maid came, brought me a spray for killing flies and left. I started spraying on the ceiling and the spiders began to fall down, but not dead. Big, black spiders. I ran out of the chalet trembling.
I ran to the reception and told the lady that I am allergic to spiders, so somebody should come and clean up. The maid came again with a broom. She cleaned the spiders on the ceiling and left in a hurry, very upset that I had bothered her again... As she left I looked around - the spiders weren't on the ceiling anymore, but on thw walls. Very angry, we went outside. We decided to go and look for another place to spend the week.
As we were walking towards the car, we met the lady at the reception which explained very upset that: "I don't know why you find it so unusual. There are spiders everywhere, even if you walk you can find spiders and other animals. It's just natural. You wanted to stay in a camping not in a house." I looked at her and couldn't say anything else.
We found another accomodation and returned to take our stuff from their chalet. As the reception lady saw us again she asked for the rest of the money. I told her that we are living and she looked very upset and rolled her eyes.
I went to take the passports and asked for my 200 euros back. She said she won't give me the money, because she has booked the chalet for us and lost the money for the week. I told her that it's not my fault that they haven't cleaned up for 3 month maybe (there was also a lot of dust under the bed, onto the kitchen table there were leftovers of bread and coffee stains). So that we left...
