Wir haben mit unseren beiden Söhnen (10 und 14 Jahre) 7 Nächte auf Toison d'Or Urlaub gemacht.
Die Anlage liegt direkt am Hausstrand von Saint-Tropez - dem Plage de Pampelonne, ca. 5 Autominuten von Saint-Tropez entfernt. Das Gelände ist extrem liebevoll gestaltet, so etwas habe ich selten gesehen. Der Gärtner hat wirklich einen Preis verdient. Überall sind Palmen und Schilfgräser. Diese werden nachts stilvoll durch Lichter in Szene gesetzt. Schon das Empfangsgebäude ist tropisch gehalten. Man kommt sich vor wie in der Karibik. Da der Platz nicht so groß ist und das Personal Elektrokarts einsetzt ist fast kein Lärm. Die einzige Müllsammelstelle ist vor der Anlage angesiedelt, so ist auch hier keine Lärm- und Geruchsbelästigung. So macht man das richtig! Der Supermarkt hatte immer geöffnet, alles von guter Qualität. Wer etwas sparen will, kann im ca. 15 Minuten entfernten Geant Casino in Gassin einkaufen.
Der Service am Empfang war sehr freundlich. Da wir schon um 14 Uhr ankamen, mussten wir ca. bis 16 Uhr warten, bis wir unser Mobilheim beziehen konnten. Eine Mitarbeiterin brachte uns mit dem Golfkart zur Unterkunft. Auch sonst war alles sehr angenehm. Man hatte überall das Gefühl zu Hause zu sein; keine Regeln und Vorschriften, die einen zu sehr einengen. Auch die Bademeister am Pool haben unsere Kinder reinhüpfen lassen, obwohl es eigentlich nicht erlaubt gewesen wäre. Das Auschecken konnte ohne Termin ganz unkompliziert zwischen 8 und 10 Uhr gemacht werden. Die Dame zur Abnahme war innerhalb von 5 Minuten vor Ort. Man fühlte sich stets als Gast behandelt.
Der Platz war insgesamt sehr gut gepflegt, der Pool sauber, da 2014 neu eröffnet. Auch der Strand und das Wasser im Meer waren supersauber. Sehr interessant ist auch der Zeitplan für den Pool. Es gibt drei Stunden pro Tag ZEN, also kinderfreie Poolzeit. Sonst immer von 9 bis 19 Uhr, mit einer Stunde Mittagspause. Aqua Gym und Latino Zone sorgen für Bewegung im Schwimmbad. Einmal pro Woche gab es sogar Nachtbaden im Pool. Bemerkenswert ist auch, dass es im ganzen September noch ein Animationsprogramm gibt. Kein Wunder, die Ferienanlage war zumindest bis zu unserer Abreise Mitte September noch voll belegt.
Der Strand ist aber das noch viel größere und bessere Schwimmbad vom Toison d’Or. Der Sandstrand ist breit aber nicht sehr feinsandig. Dafür setzt sich der Sand auch nicht in jeder Fuge fest. Das Wasser ist wirklich kristallklar und mit knapp 25 Grad Anfang September auch noch recht warm. In der Bucht ankern viele Luxus-Jachten. Freier Strand und Strandbäder mit Vermietung von Liegen wechseln sich ab. Zwei Liegen mit Schirm kosten ca. 25 Euro. Es gibt an dem ca. 5 km langen Sandstrand auch zwei FKK-Bereiche. Hundebesitzer werden es auch schätzen, dass Hunde am Strand nicht verboten sind. Es gibt zwei große Wassersport-Anbieter am Strand, beim Toison d’Or mit See-Doo Jetskis und Richtung Ramatuelle noch einen mit Yamaha Jetskis. Für 20 Minuten musste man 70 Euro zahlen, was mir zu hoch war, aber halt zu Saint-Tropez passt. Auf der Ferienanlage gibt es auch noch Wellness und einen Fitnessraum gegen Gebühr.
Saint-Tropez ist immer noch ohne große Bausünden, der gesamte Plage ohne Hotelburgen. Im Hafen von Saint-Tropez findet man die größten Jachten. Die Altstadt hat viele sehr teure Geschäfte und Ateliers. Essen gehen ist hier wirklich nicht billig. Ein Cola kostet ab 6,50 Euro und ein Hauptgericht ab 20 Euro. Naja, hier sind halt wirklich viele Leute mit reichlich Geld unterwegs. Abwechslung dazu findet man zum Beispiel im Bergdorf Ramatuelle. Eine schöne Wanderung kann man zum Leuchtturm am Cap Camarat machen. Da der Weg direkt an der Steilküste teilweise unbefestigt entlang führt, sollte man auf alle Fälle festes Schuhwerk anhaben.
Die Unterkunft war der einzige Pferdefuß in diesem Urlaub. Unseren Bungalow vom Typ California, gebucht über Neckermann, kann ich nicht weiterempfehlen. Das uralte abgewohnte Mobilheim war zwar mit 413 Euro für 7 Nächte vergleichsweise billig, aber für den Preis doch trotzdem deutlich zu alt. Es gab zwar Klimaanlage und eine große Terrasse und die Lage weit weg vom Strand hätte mich auch nicht gestört aber die Einrichtung war wirklich stark unterdurchschnittlich. Bei der Benotung der Unterkunft wird es auch schwierig, da es wirklich sehr unterschiedliche Unterkünfte auf der Anlage gibt. Vom Campingplatz direkt gibt es viele unterschiedliche Unterkünfte mit der Bezeichnung Kasai. Diese sind alle im Karibikstil gehalten und mit einer sehr schönen Bepflanzung um diese Bungalows kommt echte Urlaubsstimmung auf. Außergewöhnlich sind vor allem die Kasai, die direkt am Strand oder besser im Strand stehen. Leider ist auch deren Preis außergewöhnlich ;-) Alternativ dazu gibt es noch viele private Vermieter, deren Mobilheime deutlich besser wirkten als unser California.
Unser Fazit: Toison d’Or ist eine superschöne Anlage in einer der edelsten Gegenden Europas. Das nächste Mal investieren wir aber auf alle mehr und buchen eine bessere Unterkunft. Excursion tips: Saint-Tropez, Ramatuelle, Cap Camarat

Hallo, wir buchten im Juli 2013 bei Kema-Holidays. Ein privater Anbieter der Mobilheime auf dem Campingplatz vermietet. Es war einfach traumhaft. Wir haben alles so vorgefunden wie beschrieben. Es fehlte einem an Nichts. Mobilheim sehr sauber und top gepflegt. Ausgestattet mit 2 Schalfzimmer, Bad, Dusche, WC und Küche. Gasherd, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Kochgeschirr alles vorhanden. PKW Stellplatz direkt neben dem Mobilheim. Veranda, Sonnenliegen, Sonnenschirm vorhanden. Super günstige Preise. Netter Kontakt und Abwicklung durch Vermieter. Campingplatz sehr gepflegt. Restaurant, Supermarkt, Friseur vorhanden. Sanitäre Anlagen waren sehr gepflegt. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Animationsteam für Kinder.Ein wirklicher Geheimtipp.
Werde nächstes Jahr wieder buchen.

We have booked with chicken and also paid € 130 per day, this is my view too high. The mobile home was ok, the beds were just a thin mattress, the cooking utensils were in bad condition, grill, we had no kitchen, in a tent (as promised) was none. Coffee and tea in very bad condition.
Mr chicken tears are not especially to the buttocks, as described in another review.
At the plant there for the same price beautiful mobile home for rent, this can also be found on the Internet. We are fully fell for the great website of chicken.

All in all, very nice weather, beautiful beach / water.
It should give more organized bus trips. We are 1 x per week to St. Tropez to the market driven by bus.
With the reception we were not so satisfied. We have three (adult) with a dog (medium size) arrived. The dog was allowed according to the lady at the reception with no bus or even ride Sailing Tour, so that we as a family separated and have always had to stay behind. The sailing trip, we then completely canceled, although having a different information was given by the front desk (by phone). Moreover, we ourselves have seen that in our bus with destination St. Tropez two other dogs were able to ride without problems (they also do not disturb).
The next vet was not properly appointed by the reception. Den we have by chance found himself.
Then another criticism: Stamps for postcards must be there at the campsite to buy give.

My wife and I were last year as part of a larger motorcycle trip through Southwest Europe two weeks at the campsite Toison d'Or.
Such a tour, of course, provides optimum conditions once to compare different campsites. Our mobile home owners on site, the company Rent caravan, which we want an honorable mention, convinced us above all by the very well maintained and clean accommodations. All mobile homes had awnings and were fantastically situated in a pine grove. Also, the service hervorragenede surprised us very much. This included not only the free exchange of gas cylinders and any repairs on the mobile home but also street festivals, sports tournaments, driving to Saint Tropez or go shopping, childcare and much more. The sports facilities on the site read, no wish unfulfilled. Especially I would like to emphasize that the toilets were cleaned several times a day, what Erfahrungsgemäs no standard to be campsites.
Fatzit: our next great family vacation is already booked and we can use this address only highly recommend!

Hendl Gewerblicher is a mobile home lenders. He has New 8x3 meters and some older with the same dimensions. The elderly have a TV, the newer addition, a dishwasher. Hendl is for everyone, for every tear is on the rear, gives very good tips for places Ausflüge.Der supermarktim is Expensive, Grimaut at almost half price, about 8 Km away toilets clean and well ever hot water plant is several times daily cleaned. The bins are outside of the place, no odor and no vermin.
The beach is only for infants under suitable supervision. Water depth about 1 meter directly to the beach, steep slopes, after about 6 meters of water about 1.5 meters deep.
