Ennui est le mot pour résumer notre séjour aux Vagues, nous avions connu un camping avec des animations en hors saison mais le groupe qui a recemment repris le camping a engagé une nouvelle politique.
Résultats : pas d'ambiance au bar, pas d'animation le soir (même si parfois elles n'étaient pas toujours à notre goût), la piscine vagues sans vagues ! et sans surveillant de baignade, des travaux en cours sur toute une partie du camping avec des tranchées, des trous, pas d'eclairage public en soirée, sanitaires fermés, des engins de chantier et des ouvriers qui travaillent toute la journée alors que vous essayez de vous reposer et ceci sans avoir été prévenu alors que la saison est débutée depuis un bon mois et que les tarifs ont encores augmentés. Concernant l'animation, d'après ce que l'on a pu comprendre elle serait présente et au "top" en Juillet et Aout (plus d'animateur-trice amateur-trice non qualifié(e)s) mais cela reste à vérifier ... C'est dommage pour un outil comme ce camping qui pourrait être fantastique si on lui en donne les moyens. Bravo aux commerçants du camping qui sont toujours présents et ne baissent pas les bras malgré le manque de fréquentation.

En lisant tous les commentaires négatifs sur diverses sites, je m'étais dit que c'étaient surtout des raleurs... mais après avoir séjourné 1 semaine, je confirme tout le mal qui est dit sur les Vagues.
Tout d'abord, le bruit. Le camping est entourré d'autres campings qui ont également leurs animations jusqu'à tard dans la nuit, notamment le site PGL qui est uniquement pour les jeunes! (anglais) Impossible de coucher les enfants avant minuit!
Ensuite la piscine, n'en est pas une. On ne peut pas nager: pas de profondeur et sur peuplé. Les toboggans sont sympa pour les enfants, et le bassin à vagues est très petit pour la taille du camping.
Et enfin, la directrice se fout du monde. Nous ne sommes que des vaches à lait.

nous avons passé 1 agréable semaine de vacance.
mois d'avril donc piscine pour nous et propre.mes 3 enfants se sont éclaté.
les 2 mauvais points sont:
_le nettoyage des allées entre les mobil home au carcher (tous les jours et toute la journée)un bruit épouvantable!

For young children and teens, it's fun!
We can let them free without worrying, and, children, iy everywhere.
Extra large flat: DIRECTION:
When booking on our site, we have explicitly asked for a quiet and shady, because we had a baby very young age.
On our arrival we discovered our mobile home: Wave 2 along the sports field without a net!
We were then offered another mobile home: in the sun!
We then asked another, "charming" director who is very proud we responded very ironoquement "I hope that it will fit you, because I have nothing else!".
They do not take into account our comments, and it is our fault!
Eventually we were placed in wave 3, super mobile home, no space to park the car, so we left a little further.
Another big downside: THE POOL!
Its size should be proportional to vague1, and has not be enlarged since vague2 e 3 because it is very small, very dirty and suddenly the evening saw the number of people who go there.
Fortunately the beach side is very beautiful!
Too bad there have not cabaret hosted by tourists and not by the facilitators.
We waited aperitifs games, but saw nothing!
Not as good as 4 but 3 stars. Besides, how can a site be 3 AND 4????

Toilet, shower, pool it should not really be manic
quiet service 30 min averaged over a tray of fried 45 minutes for a pizza ... etc.
The last evening we returned to 23h07 (the watch of a security guard) and the latter with a girl as cool as him we flatly refuse the entrance of the camp (7 min late) spent 23h you have the right to leave but not back, yet we were accompanied by three children from 6 to 9 years
Conclusion .. As we slept in the car we had from the evening (23h12) rather than the morning were as expected (of course the night were paid)
Tjr wonder how he gets them out, certainly a hold up!

I'm going camping in waves since 2006 and I've never encountered problems of cleanliness in the toilets on the contrary. I speak mainly of waves 1. this has so much that we bought a MH. entertainment in the evening are the "disco" is not a disco itself, but it allows the youth 13-15 years of dancing until one o'clock in the morning without leaving the site for young people "oldest" there are DISCOTHEQUE ville.Apres midnight vigils round the bottom of the recall order was noisy (there was already evictions to allow campers to spend their holidays cool). For those who do not want my advice promixuite not no reserve on the waves because the 3 it is true that MH are poorly disposes.Nous just spent a weekend in the water aerobics, fitness, competition petanque, kids club with various activities, children prepare a show that is presented on Friday evening at the camper, 1 meal a theme this week, a movie night, ... I can not remember the rest but there is what to do. it is a beautiful holiday mood. anyway there are always pros and cons, I think some were wrong place for their holidays, do not confonfre, hotel ****, apartment and camping holidays are not the same and everyone has different needs.

We booked this site in "waves" in September 2008.
In a first time, everything seemed very nice. It was beautiful, heated pool, shaded location, MH facing the pool. All pout please ....
And there the trouble began.
Youth coaches came every two days in order to begin their year of students. The problem we had not been advised of the arrival and the brothel almost 24/24. To tell you, even the forces of authority had to move.
Asked clean camping and swimming pool. Not terrible. Concerning the pool, instead of calling "the waves", one could call "algae". The pool was not as heated as that because the units to heat water were defective (2 of 4) . And further, the wave pool has functioned as twenty times in 15 days and 5 minutes per session (no more) at the request of students because we, the poor campers we had not the right.
Unfortunately the site is off to the shops, must use vehicles to do some shopping.
Finally, we shared all these problems in the short direction, but we are only campers September .....................
I think this site could be better it is, but on condition that management put the means to hire and to ensure that its staff are overwhelmed by multiple tasks ...
In short ..... Avoid it in September ... if you look a little rest and family vacations.

hello all,
We're back from camping yesterday the waves, and before leaving we've read several comments rather désagéables! I even called our travel agent because I was very worried, and although we were surprised profodément, this campground is very enjoyable for the whole family, we had 3 teenagers and 1 in 12 years, they have all benefited a max their holiday and the return was hard!
The little train that leads us to Valras in a jiffy is friendly. The last week of the 2008 season was very busy and the hosts were up to it, I go to camp for many years and animations are very popular. Besides the proximity between the MH nothing to say and then when we go camping we know OI stick.

Very disappointed by this site.
Mobile dirty upon arrival, no privacy between each mobile home (no fence separating), no green. Sanitaires camping sales (only cleaned water jet). Pool too small (do not rely on pictures on the internet ... they are taken with wide angle), from 11am, there is no more place.Plage mandatory.
Animation side, should not have because I have 3 teen children (17, 14 and 14 years) who are bored. The day, the leaders do not deal with them (they are occupied with other tasks: cleaning, trash, home, repair ,...). There was therefore no meeting "caused" (though, god knows it is important to link). In the evening you are entitled to great shows (tjs it is good) but you remain seated until 23:30 (for us it is for teenagers less!) Then it's time to go into the so-called "box" which is just a simple room where a DJ is some pseudo CD loop.
No trade close (apart from a small supermarket); systématiqement must move the car to go on or Valras-Plage Vias Plage ... bref, que du bonheur.
Conclusion: avoid

We spent our holidays (2nd half of July 2006) at the campsite Waves. We rented a mobile home 4 to 6 people through a tour operator with the result that the model dating from before the war. There are very few in the camp but unfortunately there still. For other accommodations, we were able to visit two very modern and in perfect condition. Be careful on this one there.
This campsite is ideal for family vacations. It is composed of 3 parts. We who love tranquility have been fortunate not to find in the part where the swimming pool, which is much quieter during the day.
The water park is really as you can dream and the wave pool is fun for children from 8 to 12 years. Paddling pool for toddlers.
There are enough sunbeds from the moment one does not go to the pool at 11:00 am but the turnover is not expected for very long.
The small grocery store offers enough to feed a family.
Only small problem is the cleanliness of health in my opinion a bit rudimentary and do not necessarily correspond to 4 stars. It is even a little crincrin and it's interest to have the bathroom in the rental.
