Wir waren das 1. Mal auf diesem Platz.
Bereits an der Rezeption wurden wir freundlich empfangen - Deutschsprachig !
Danach fuhren wir mit einem Angestellten durch die Anlage und schauten uns die freien Plätze an. Da wir einen Wohnwagen, Vorzelt sowie ein Zelt für die Kinder aufstellen wollten, waren die Plätze begrenzt - die meisten viel zu klein !
Wir fanden dann jedoch einen schönen, nur 50 Meter vom Strand / Waschhaus entfernt.
Die komlette Anlage ist sehr sauber und wird ständig gepflegt.
Auch der Strand sowie die Strandbars sind sehr ansprechend, sauber und bereiten leckeres Essen zu - natürlich alles etwas teurer !
In der Canobi Bar (ab 18 Uhr) hat man einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die Bucht von St. Tropez dort werden Tapas und Coctails serviert. ==> Tolle Atmosphäre
Desweiteren gibt es eine Pizza, ein Selbstbedienungsladen,2 Einkaufsläden, sowie mehrere Bars, Disco, jeden Abend Live-Musik ==> schön !
Auf der Gegenüberliegenden Seite des Campingplatzes befindet sich der Ort "Port Grimaud" = Klein Venedig - man kann sich dort Boote mieten und durch die Wasserstraßen fahren - auch die Märkte und die Restaurants sind nicht zu verachten.
Von Port Grimaud aus geht es mit dem Schiff nach St. Tropez - ca. 30 Min. Fahrezeit
Aber Auch St. Maxime ist sehr sehenswert.
Monaco liegt ca. 115 km entfernt (Fahrezeit 1,5 Std.) - auch dieser Besuch lohnt sich.
Vom CP aus geht eine kleine Bahn ca. alle 60 Minuten nach Grimaud. Die Umgebung wird in dieser Bahn mehrsprachig erklärt.
Im ganzen Umfeld sehr gut ausgebaute Fahrradwege.
Alles in allem ein sehr schöner, eindrucksvoller Urlaub.
Wer allerdings zeitig ins Bett will sollte hier nicht herkommen, da die Nacht aufgrund der Geräuschkulisse sehr spät anfängt.

The camp is very great. The location, right on the beach, very great. Only in the high season the beach is pretty full. It is fairly close to each other. The mobile home was clean and well equipped. Only very soft mattresses. For people (2 adults and 2 youth) was a little tight. Even the mobile homes are fairly close to each other. You could hear snoring at night the neighbors. Our mobile home was shady.
There are 2 small supermarkets in the square. Here are the essentials. Larger shops in the area ... Geant, Lidl, Ed ...
Staff is very friendly and also very hard. Does not always German. But with school English and French school will be going well. Excursion tips: Grasse, Ramatuelle....

It was my first experience in this huge camping but surely we'll be back for the peace, cleanliness, comfort and services. The mobile home we rented was very clean, in good condition and the staff was very friendly.

We were in this camp a week in a rented mobile home is not directly but through an agent from the camp found on the Internet ... where you can save much ... park the campsite is well shaded and tenito ... Our accommodation was in a quiet street not too close to the beach (I was sorry for those who had rented a bungalow on the beach, spending a high figure and had never had peace of mind, by day or at night ... with the constant passage of people), so that our 2 years old baby could sleep peacefully in the afternoon ...
The location is spectacular ... in 3 minutes you are one leading Grimoud And like a little Venice ... really very nice ... ù
Unico neo the beach: the camp is great and the beach is always very crowded ... only in the late afternoon you can have a bit 'of tranquility ...
Overall, however, positive ... we return.

the prairies is a place moltgo well organized the mobile home and doing are very beautiful and equipped so inpeccabile camp for Italian will be, in my opinion, but the services are meager ottmi. The restaurants on the beach are very nice x average expenditure on a dinner 15è max 25. The sea is not bad there is a small part of the beach equipped with umbrellas and deck loungers at a cost 7th grimaud giorno.Port is fantastic, a little Venice, wonderful. What dre more? We definitely come back

For years now I attend the campsite "Les Prairies de la mer" and every year more surprising. animators are very friendly, the bathrooms are always clean, there is a chance for anyone who wants to have fun (xi rides children, youth clubs xi, restaurants, bars and evening entertainment) and mobile homes are almost all brand new and equipped with veranda, umbrella, refrigerator, freezer, etc. (there is also the free air conditioning (?) in certain payment and in others).
the problem of night noise is only present in the mobile home on the beach and close to those rooms so if you want to spend a quiet holiday book is not recommended by the sea ..
the only real criticism is that the beach is overcrowded at times .. but only at peak periods (July, August)
The organization for campers, caravans and tents is very good, although the plots have decreased significantly compared to a decade ago.
The rest is OK.

We spent two beautiful days at the camping les prairies de la mer between the beach and tent.
Beach excellent, super equipped with kiosks and eateries that make you forget everyday life, fabulous sea like in the movies.
Acceptance and staff not on top, they speak little Italian and if you need some more clarification to the French who chews a little bit 'in difficulty.
From being a bit 'attention during the period of August which is super busy also favored by people outside the camp entrance through the beach adjacent to Port Grimaud and the bathrooms are not clean.
Despite some drawbacks excellent beachfront camp site with animations and almost every comfort for those who love the sea and for those who love the kiosk for drinks, snacks and evening ... I highly recommend it.

Home is very correct with courteous staff, the site very well situated with a beach lined with palm trees, it's like being on an island .... the big problem comes quickly, in fact, this site can not be closed, otherwise the beach did not look like what it is! From the second day, we learned that there were frequent flights and, day or night. the thugs from the beach without being seen ..... our neighbors have stolen all their shoes under their canopy, without mentioning others, and finally, our bikes have all the 3 missing in the day, we 5 minutes left to see the beach is 50 meters to our site! Police responded to us: what do you do that there! but of course! it was not in a campground this class ruled the thugs with impunity!

On July 26, 2008 was the trip to Port Grimaud for about 3 weeks into the holidays with the caravan. From Switzerland, near Basel, it is about 850 km, we delights us because it is about 10x. Unfortunately, the joy at the end of a tough, because already at 2 days after the arrival of about 40 cars in the night were scratched.
We höhrten us on the court order, and the same was happening before 14 days.
Unfortunately, the place also has a responsibility to pay nothing.
We are all injured, have Interverniert in Anmeldug, so that the police on the square, and a display of record should be Unknown.
We were from different nations, CH, D, NL, F, DK, L, but unfortunately the police has done nothing, just a lot of blablabla nothing else.
And the place has some controls for 2 nights out that was all.
Everyone has a loss from ca.400. euro, which is the Resuldat of today's youth. They go to the campgrounds to the booze and the property damage. (Shame shame for this beautiful campground)

My partner and I (31 years) were for 2 weeks in August / September in the above system. The situation in Port Grimaud is very beautiful. We recommend Port Grimaud restaurants and beach. Also, St. Tropez and St. Maxime quickly to achieve what is very good (if you are not in daily traffic jams, but it is one of them).
The plant itself, the sanitary facilities are very poor. Moldy, very dirty and very ramshackle. Unlicensed Category 0 stars! The staff is very friendly. The evening entertainment Geschmackssache - for us it was nothing.

We were 18-25, the pitch was large enough for our camper, but lacked the connections for water and discharge of gray water to the pitch, which at ground level of this is unforgivable.
The only camper service is located near the Santa Fe and services is a service camper to say the least ridiculous, both in position for ease of service.
We do not come back anymore.

E 'a relaxing and peaceful accommodation is not provided on the main road connecting the beach.
in the night from 3 hours to 4 hours you can not sleep for the crowds of people leaving the nightclub and running for camping. They are people who are camping outside. Enough to close the nightclub because security can not solve the problem.

Excellent campground with modern and functional. Excellent cleaning of bathrooms and common areas. Excellent and the animation is not intrusive. Good starting point for excursions. Mare stupendo. Unico neo beach too crowded (already late June / early July .. I dare not imagine in August). Perhaps some 'expensive (especially the hiring of bungalows), but the quality you pay but there is no comparison with the camps of the area (less expensive but much more with Spartans and few services). Finally .. the best camp in the area. Is certainly recommended for families with children (teenagers or small) and for young people.

we were in May 2008 on the square (2 adults, 2 children and a dog) and had a rented mobile home.
The mobile homes are all very new, bright and spacious. For each mobile home is
added a terrace, partly roofed, and is equipped with umbrellas. The facility is clean and maintained. The mobile home sites are relatively small, but sufficient.

Saint Maxime fairly dense traffic - it is annoying and, therefore, if you only halting progress. In high season, this is probably much worse.
A bit of a pity is that the sports facilities (including table tennis, etc.)
are quite far away.
The beach was initially a bit dirty (probably was that the season only just started slowly, because Pentecost this year was so early) - but then after the Whit weekend and cleaned everything from then on everything was clean - even the sea was crystal clear.

we were in Juli07 on this place. In the square there are two areas in one it has a very old (beautiful) trees, the part really quite dark in the other part is very open and has only smaller trees, this part really very beautiful, bright and open. We were in the new part! Us has super gefallen. Above all, the evening's program was great for the kids every night concert and also the youngest was a mini-art "Luna Park".
The beach is clean, rather small and has a few small trees. The beach is very good, but the prices moderate.
The sanitary facilities are very nice, each in a different topic on hold. Only those at the beach is not quite as clean. The others are very cared for.
The surrounding area invites also. Opposite, in "walking distance" is the pretty town of Port Grimaud and completely in the next the famous St Tropez.
All in all, a great holiday!

Last year I was there 3 weeks and it was a super holiday. There are a lot of German, they represented will contact you quickly!
There are 3 things that were not so great:
1. The showers were partly so hot that it was hardly bearable
2. We had our place at the stage of the animation. When the band played there, we could have our own words no longer understand
3. Evening from 23/24 Teen clock may not be on the beach or in the residing city of Port Grimaud. There are security men around, which constantly away, whether you are behaving or not.
Otherwise, it was a really super holiday. The facility is very well maintained and the big beautiful beach with bars, etc. In addition, the camp a "fair" for young children, a restaurant that cooks really good (it's worth it just to get something rather than to cook), are also it is near several supermarkets with reasonable prices.
I would absolutely leave again! Daumen hoch und weiter so =)

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I was from 13.-28.09.07, so just on your square Prairie de la Mer
There are really only 4 things that would be objectionable:
1. Most pitches are unfortunately not deep enough (Caravan length incl
Drawbar = 7.43 m). We must stand caravan So along, what with
much maneuvering is connected. And then problems with the car secondment.
2. While there are many (good) Sanitary facilities. But do not be decentralized
Water bodies (where you also could drain water)!
There are wide pathways needed.
3. Due to the many trees (some would even shrubs pruned times
(see also Note to 1) there is no TV reception. How would it
with antenna connectors on the power box?
4. By - some giant motor homes - you'll feel as caravan owners
often very eingekesselt / narrowed. How about with separate spaces for
large motorhomes?
Very good is that you have the ACSI card accepted !!!!!!

My wife and I have been at this wonderful camping site for 5 weeks, from Mai to June 2007. We liked it so much, that we will visit it next year again. But a few weeks longer. Apart from a few shortcomings, I was generally content with everything (Carports were too small for Caravans, no possibilities to get water at the place. No garbage bins except at the collecting points. But other than that, everything was wonderful: enough shade, exotic trees, paved roads, a nice beach, friendly people at the reception and a lot more. I am coming back next year. Arno

An extremely well organized village, situated in a beautiful location: the view of the gulf of Saint Tropez in the evening from the beach is unparalleled.
Suitable for both young people and families, children are present within the real and his own rides.
Near the unique town of Port Grimaud, is reached by walking for about 5 minutes, allow to move without using the machine.
We spent a really pleasant holiday, with perhaps the only flaw in an overcrowded beach (the beach and the sea are wonderful).

Beautiful location, close to the village on foot in Port Grimaud overtake 5 minuti.Il camp has it all, the hairdresser, beauty, entertainment, shopping, sports, two supermarkets, many other things and even the rides, so that service is provided the evening came from other camps to have fun.
The beach is beautiful and that is why there are no swimming pools. Is good for families and for young people, a little curiosity and bathrooms are themed to the second position are the greek-style bathrooms, Roman, Egyptian, Mexican, and so on.
The only criticism ... if you can call it that is too large and need to be careful of the space available, not having to walk too much to go to the beach or by other parties, better equipped with bikes!

For 2009 I would have preferred a later Faré beach for the week of July 4 to 11 because I have four small children to watch but you start the location on Friday, 3 while children are still at school.
