As with other sites on my trip, this one was selected only because it was on TomTom and close to where I happened to be. I should have been warned when it was necessary to send someone out to guide me to my pitch. The first night wasn't too bad, but it was quite late and I didn't go anywhere. The next day I intended to visit the archaelogical site of Ostia Antica and then drive to Rome for some sites/sights I had missed 2 years before. All went reasonably well until I returned to the campsite. It then took me approximately 3 hours to find my tent etc. The plan of the site provided is of the cartoon variety. The nighttime lighting is also quite poor and the signposting is horrendous. I eventually found my equipment with the aid of a couple of security staff and a good deal of luck. I then found that a noisy Dutch group had set up so close that their guy ropes were BETWEEN mine. There are no distinct separated pitches. By this time it was gone 11pm and I told the security staff I would be leaving. It took about an hour to pack up all my gear, load my car and find my way out. Then, with my car outside the site gates, I returned to the Reception hut to reclaim my deposit and the 5 euro fee I had paid for Internet access when I arrived back at 8pm but had not had a chance to use. I was rudely told that I was too late and I would have to return the next day. I pointed out that I had packed up and was now going on to Naples. Thinking that there might be a problem with access to cash, I said that my money could be sent to me in the UK. I was told that that would not happen and I would have to return the following day. I left and have now sent them a request for my money.

Unfortunately, our vacation at the Country Club more of a washout!
The bungalows were not clean, we had to share a room with spiders and Nackschnecken share.
The food was unfortunately ungeniesbar and the staff unfriendly and visibly annoyed.
At camp with youth groups, it may be nice, but from the age of 18 take a big bow make a question!

Castelfusano is only suitable as a campsite. The cottages are old and not clean -> renovation!
The staff treats everyone who appears to them under 40 as a toddler -> very unfriendly (except the bus driver)!
The breakfast is inedible and is ever since the day before ready for dead animals. The dinner is ok, but only in the whole group available!
Conclusion: only suitable for groups of children!
