We spent our summer vacation for the third time here and are still enthusiastic about this place. The location is fantastic / clean / friendly staff. Only recommended, especially for families with children is a paradise.
The location right on the beach is unbeatable. Excursion tips: Le-Gau-du-Roi, Aigues Mortes, Arles, Sète, Camargue

C'était notre 2ème séjour au camping du boucanet et ce sera notre dernier!
Animation nulle!!! Nous avions 3 ados avec nous et durant toute la semaine il n'y a qu'une seule fois de la musique. le reste du temps un loto, et rediffusion d0un match de foot sur écran. Le restaurant est sale, j'ai commandé un perrier avec rondelle de citron. la rondelle de citron avait du trainer déjà dans plisieurs verres. la serveuse impolie qui ne dit pas bonjour en arrivant et qui a l'air d'avoir envie d'être ailleurs... Nous avions loué un mobilhomme en bois les nouveaux donnant sur la mer. très cher et pas très grand.Et le pire! ils ont exigé que l'on paye un emplacement de tente car nous vions un enfant en plus (bébé d'un an qui a pu dormir avec nous dans la chambre). Donc pas du tout arrangeants. pas une seule cabine téléphonique qui fonctionne dans le camping.D'ailleurs on a constaté beaucoup d'emplacements vides et de bungalow non loués. Ce sera la dernière fois pour nous.

In the preseason without reservation, there were enough places so that we could read. Beautifully situated by the sea. Friendly staff, clean sanitary facilities. Prices since the introduction of the euro in the general upper segment. Are also opportunities in the immediate "Centre Commercial" buy cheaply. lovely location, but;
1 pitch sizes small
2 too many chalets - I guess in time there will not be any touring pitches
after initial reception mistake in charges on arrival, resolved very quickly

The place could be a little better care bear, suitable for a stay of several days, however, suitable. Sanitation in order. Location with a few meters from the beach and shopping options good.

The facility is ideally located and we come since 1984, virtually every year. But: The toilets are in poor condition.
The restaurant will be rude and careless operation, if -
all. 2 people have been forgotten.
We have a Porto Potti bought and do not eat more food, it is true for us.
Prices are in the top segment
And, unfortunately, are frequently stolen bikes. Everything's no lock. And this is always night

Goods in the spring with our kids (7 +8 years) for the first time at this campground and were very happy! Mobile home, as was promised in the reservation, by the sea. Space (including sanitation) was strikingly sauber.Personal fast and friendly, good restaurant with good food (which is in French, unfortunately, no longer exist anywhere), well-stocked mini supermarket.
Pool perfect for the children sometimes go swimming alone to leave.
We had an all-round very happy holiday with ¨ clean beach "on the doorstep," beautiful sunrise + sunsets and a beautiful old fishing village, we are safe again this campsite reservation!

We stayed in the campsite at the end of May - renting two mobile homes - and had to leave at 0400 to catch our flight. On our return we were hit by a charge of 60 euros for each home for allegedly leaving them dirty. We had swept out all sand, cleaned kitchen and bathroom areas and left all dishes clean. I spoke on the phone and asked for a detailed list of the alleged 'dirty' areas. I then sent an email and have just received a reply alleging that ther was a lot of snad, dust, bathrooms were dirty and that the cleaner had to spend an hour cleaning each mobile home!! Be very wary if renting on this site and I suggest you get someone to inspect before you leave and confirm that the mobile home is clean so you don't get hit like we have been.
It is the cleaner's word against ours and I feel very angry that we can do nothing about it.

I was with a friend in May 2005 and May 2004 at the campsite with car and tent. We were very very satisfied. The parcelling out the hedges, the sanitary installations, in particular, have fallen. The beach is nice and clean. The staff knew us at the 2nd Stay already and was very friendly. One should always try with the French to speak French, even if not perfect, but magic words like "S'il vous plaît" help much, then it works also with the friendliness.
The food in the restaurant was not cheap, but pretty good when you consider that the restaurants in town partly quite bad and disproportionately expensive.
In this year (September 2008) I was in an apartment in the village of Le Grau du Roi placed but have a look at my favorite camping thrown and noted with pleasure that the 1.Reihe (directly on the beach) new huts built were very nice look. Has anyone a comment on this? How is it in the huts to live?
