Trop de gens mais beaucoup d'écureuils ! Sanitaires corrects mais pas assez de place pour les tentes. La réception était correcte sauf que la réservation faite depuis la France avec le formulaire n'avait pas été reçue. Le camping est bien situé, il est près du centre-ville et de la gare mais il est difficile à trouver à vélo (for bikers).

Très pratique, bien situé pour visiter le centre de Londres puisque le train est à 5 minutes à pieds et les trains sont fréquents. L'accueil est très correct, arrangeant, à notre service, les sanitaires sont très propres.

The campground is very near to the train station (300 meters) for transfer to the city (Charing cross - time approximately 25 min). The facilities are clean, managers very friendly and helpful. Some pitches for motorhomes are gravel and medium-hard slopes (for this reason are supplied by your wedges additional by management). However, the accommodation has been adapted to the expectations and I would recommend it.

ll campeggio è molto vicino alla stazione del treno (300 mt) che porta in centro a Londra (charing cross - tempo circa 25 min). I servizi sono puliti, i gestori molto gentili e disponibili. Alcune piazzole per i camper sono in ghiaia e in media-forte pendenza (per questo motivo vengono forniti dal gestore dei cunei aggiuntivi). Comunque la sistemazione è stata adeguata alle attese e mi sento di consigliarla.

La struttura è pulita, ben tenuta e con tutte le comodità.
Purtroppo il personale alla reception non fa niente per capire gli stranieri e la lingua da loro parlata anzi sembra far di tutto per parlare un 'inglese veloce e stretto e non viene incontro alle esigenze degli ospiti.

Il Campeggio è molto bello, le piazzole sono molto ampie sia quelle su eba che quelle su ghiaia. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Impeccabile servizio di pulizia nei bagni. Consiglio di effettuare sempre e comunque la prenotazione in quanto è sempre completo. E' possibile mezzo treno in 40 minuti raggiungere il cenro di Londra, stazioni metro Tower Bridge, il biglietto costa £7,70 se comperato dopo le ore 09,30 e vale anche per tutti i mezzi come metro e bus in centro per 24 ore. La stazione si raggiunge coodamente in 10 min. a piedi

Sehr große Stellplätze, 5 Minuten Fußweg zur Bahn ins Zentrum, hatten 2tolle Tage dort, Platz liegt in der LEZ London, Registrierung nicht vergessen, fahren einen ducato 2,8 jtd (gelbe Plakette ) keine Probleme (ohne kosten) bei Einfahrtberechtigung. 90 Euro für 2 Nächte sind für London angemessen.

Dieser Campingplatz liegt wunderschön im Londoner Vorort.Schnell erreichbarer Bahnhof .In 30 Min.ist man mitten in der Stadt.Der Sanitärbereich ist sehr sauber und die Stellplätze schön verteilt (teils Steine/Kies , teils Rasen).Besonders gut gefallen hat mir die eigene Auswahl des Platzes.Kurzum:SEHR zu empfehlen !!!!

Wir haben den Campingplatz genutzt, um für 3 Tage London mit der Familie zu besuchen. Der Platz ist gut zu erreichen (auch für diejenigen, die das Lenkrad auf der 'richtigen' Seite haben :-)). Der Platz ist sehr schön angelegt, die Stellplätze bieten viel Platz und sind sehr eben. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sauber und gepflegt, das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Rund um den Campingplatz ist uns nichts besondes Interessantes aufgefallen, es ist eine einfach Wohngegend ohne besondere Attraktionen. Interessant ist aber der nur ca. 5 Gehminuten entfernte Bahnhof, von dem man in einer halben Stunde die Londoner City erreicht. Als Stellplatz für einen Londonbesuch kann ich diesen Platz ganz klar empfehlen.
Einzige negative Überraschung war, dass man uns bei der Anreise gesagt hat, wir könnten das Wohnmobil am Abreisetag auch über die Abreisezeit (10 Uhr) auf dem Platz stehen lassen, sollten aber vorher noch mal nachfragen. Bei der Nachfrage wurde uns dann gesagt, es ginge doch leider nicht, es würden viele neue Gäste kommen. Der alternativ empfohlene Parkplatz in der Nähe des Bahnhofs ist für Wohnmobile aus meiner Sicht aber nicht wirklich geeignet, so haben wir einen weiteren Tag gebucht. Bei der abendlichen Rückkehr aus London haben wir dann festgestellt, dass noch genügend Platz für unser Wohnmobil gewesen wäre.
Trotzdem ein empfehlenswerter Platz für einen Besuch von London. Excursion tips: London City

le train est à 5 mns à pied et une fois dedans nous sommes en plein centre touristique de Londres en 30 Mns (arrivée : trafalgar square).

Hallo,
der Campingplatz ist sehr schön mit alten Baumbestand angelegt und sehr gepflegt.
Die Atraktion für Kinder sind die Eichhörnchen die in den Bäumen und Rasenflächen oft zu sehen sind. Die Anlage ist ruhig gelegen, allerdings sehr schwierig zu finden, da die Fähre in Harwich anlegt und man irgendwie über die Themse kommen muss und dabei das Navi versagt. Die u-Bahn erreicht mann nach wenigen Minuten. Die Rückfahrt von der Londonerinnenstadt gestaltet sich etwas komplizierter, das sich die Strecke dreifach teilt und es schlecht ersichtbar ist, welche Bahn welche Strecke befährt. Ansonsten kann ich die Anlage nur empflehlen. Eine Reservierung sollte auf jedenfall vorher gemacht werden. Excursion tips: Stonehenge, Oxford

Abbey Wood Caravan Club Site ist ein hervorragend geführter Platz mit großzügigen
Stellflächen inmitten einer gepflegten Anlage und schönem alten Baumbestand. Sanitäre Anlagen selbst bei Vollbelegung des Platzes waren jederzeit in sehr sauberem Zustand. Das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Durch die Nähe der Bahn ist Abbey Wood für London Besucher ein idealer Ausgangspunkt. Jederzeit werden wir bei einem weiteren Aufenthalt diesen Platz bevorzugen. Excursion tips: London; Greenwich

War mit meinem Sohn und dessen Freundin (deren Mutter in Lonodon)dort. Ein ideales Domizil für Stadtausflüge. Perfekte Anbindung an die City (5 Minuten zur nächsten Station).
Ruhiger sauberer Platz mitten im Grünen, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Ich stehe kurz vor der Abreise nach Schottland und werde auf der Rückreise von dort (dann sind die Olypic Games vorüber) wieder auf diesem Platz Station machen. Allerdings: dieses Mal werde ich mein Fahrzeug bei der Tfl anmelden !!! Vor zwei Jahren wußte ich gar nichts davon und hatte wohl nur Glück, daß ich straffrei ausging.

It was the Easter day and we booked until 12.00.
At 12.00 o'clock we was lunching with family and my 3 children were delaying the end of the lunch, we had to open our Easter chocolate egg with surprise, as it is tradition in our country (Italy).
The ranger arrived and asked us to leave immediately, without leaving us no minutes to finish lunch.
He said he had queue of people arriving outside of the camping, but it was no true, nobody was arriving.
Children were crying and so I asked to leave my place and stop for a few minutes in the "Late arrival parking" that was empty. The range said that the parking was for "Late arrivals" for the evening, and I was "Late leaving" so I couldn't go there.
The parking was really empty and I was forced to go outside and finish my Easter lunch in the middle of the streed in front of the camping.
For us italians who find always a solution to problems, it was very difficult to understand why with a lot of places empty inside the camping and with the late arrival parking empty, we were forced to stop in a road.
May be we don't understand english people, so the following trip was to Paris where people in the camping are much more kind with us. Excursion tips: Greenwich. Very easy to reach London with train.

Indeal campsite for visitors to London, we (2 adults and two girls 9 and 16 years) with the Camp 10 days there and we were very well liked. 10 minutes walk to the station, then you are within 25 min. in London (London Bridge). Shopping at the campsite are not available, but there is a large supermarket is only 500 m away.
Because of its location on the outskirts, it is pleasantly quiet during the day and night.
For arriving late, there is a "late arrival" parking space.

campsite not easy to find When Arriving from Dover, But excellent location for visiting the city, wt train to central London very close, and park wt lot of nice trees. Staff was a bit rigid about distance Between Our camper vans (our two vehicles Were Placed side by side, but not allowed to park as close to Each Other As We Would Have liked - although this Caused no problem for anybody around, I think). Of place goes to 5 minutes to station. 20 min train ride to the center. Very clean and ordenlich. Plots and power very well. The only negative: We had booked in good time and yet we were one lot with gravel and steep slope assigned. (Of which there are only 10 pieces) The other sites are saying as well. The place is beautifully situated in a park with tall trees. Large terasseförmig pitches. To participate in the gravel and grass. Only 7 minutes walk to the station and then 1 / 2 hour ride to London Bridge. Ideal for exploring London as the evening man on the court again has wonderful peace.

I like the proximity of the city of London. Easy to get there by train from 9.30 in the morning at a low price suitable for a family. In the suburbs of Paris we do not have interest rates as by train.
The campsite is very comfortable and very well ... but a little expensive.
We will however return with pleasure.

I was for the second time in a place which is the first time but 15 years ago. The place is super, very well-maintained facilities, super sanitary facilities, very nice manager, a wonderful place as a starting point for exploring London. 10 minutes walk to the station, then 20-30 minutes to London Bridge by train. The next London residence, I will certainly return to Abbey Wood station make.

Abby Wood is an ideal starting point to look to London. After 5 minutes walk to the train station and approx 30 min train journey is one in central London. The place is very clean, quiet and pleasant.

This is a camp as it desires, at Stadtrand.wenn you comfortable, you will run into 10 Min.am station then you quickly in London's city.
Nice reception, clean toilets and calmly what more could you want, well foxes socialize at night but there will want to ungefährlich.Wenn we go back to London then back to this place.

This site is a camping site for Caravans and Tents. Sanitary installations are cleaned thoroughly every morning. Beware of grey squirrels! Don't keep any food in your tent; otherwise, you will quickly have additional vent holes in it. Connections to the city with the local train or by bus (n. Greenwich or Grennwich Nord) and dockland trains. The immediate surroundings aren't especially beautiful. (Please don't mix up the pronunciation of „pitch“ and „bitch“. We don't want to get rude!) Very quiet campsite on the outskirts of the city. The area is a bit simple, but really in order, and the camp is very safe.
For a few minutes walk to the station, there are also small shops for daily shopping.
The place, as I said, quietly, generously and with old trees.
We will come back.
