I can connect in many ways just Jürgen Przybilla.
The camp is located in Ortteil "Sudden height" on the lake and is characterized by permanent campers in our stay (15 days) in July 2010 was the place booked up to two days.
The plots on the lake are very small and below 60 square meters (9m x 5.5 m). A caravan with awning and the plot is completely occupied. Before WW sit in the sun is not possible because of course the car needs to be squashed on the parcel ".
But many permanent campers and dog sites are about 100 square meters, but these places the term is reserved for campers with children between dogs, not our wishful thinking. The television is on all the tourist places because of the height trees a big problem or not possible.
The campsite has its own small bay with sandy beach, a grass lawn and a moderately-equipped playground at the beach. The water will slowly lower and is ideal for small children. Here is an old rusty tower of the former was probably the water rescue but is no longer busy.
For smaller children there is a daily animation by the CAT (Camping-active team) but which are for the most part free of charge. For older children and adults, the site offers nothing.
In the square there is the "Schilffhütte", a food stall with a very manageable and map quality. Rolls must be ordered a day in advance, price and quality of bakery products is simply a matter of taste.
The modern toilet block is in the permanent campers and is renovated. The other two toilet block next to the food stall has been used in the last 40 years and only have the appeal of a barracks, completely inappropriate. Despite additional "summer toilets" is the number of toilets is not enough space for a fully booked with 1,000 guests.
The bike path around the lake Plauer leads directly through the campground and back up / finalizing of everything is recommended by the place. The bike path is recommended as suitable for children "and runs right along the lake. Children and all other Fahrräderäder except mountain bikes come here to its limit.
The camp staff is friendly, helpful and ready, but it's never been so well because the place has only one order of "indicative value" or displays a form as a guide.
-> Walking speed only the children take the "Kettcar"
all other bretten cheerfully with 20 km / h and more about the place.
-> Night swimming with considerable background noise is ignored, despite prohibition from 22 clock, the same is true for the night.
-> Grilling is allowed even with charcoal,
which, given the small plots and the very closely placed camper and now WARNING: highest level even as a forest fire through negligence, if it can not even be called gross negligence. In a fire, there are certainly dead.
Conclusion:
For a beach holiday with small children, as annual rent or RV camper in retirement with the camping can be considered suitable, the rest are here completely wrong and why the Internet listed four stars come out, I can not say and understand it either.

Review of Customer from North Rhine-Westphalia / Germany, August 2008
Language of the review:
Review is based on the year: 2008

The campsite acclamation is about 3 km away from Plau.
Plau is a small nice place (village), with good shopping facilities.
On the outskirts there is an Aldi, a Lidel and a net market. In addition to the net market, there is a large beverage market.
The camp is characterized by Dauercampern.
In the main season is necessarily a reservation is necessary.
During our stay (18.07. - 04. 08. 2008) was the space booked.
The campsite has its own beach, lawn and a small sandy beach.
The water will slow down, so is ideal for small children.
Beautiful approx 100 sqm large dogs are the places Plots 111, 118, 119 and 120 Television is only on the square 111 is possible. On the other parcels are large trees in your way. The space 120 is located directly on the trail and almost completely in the shade.
Beautiful larger Parcell, there is no dog on Wild boar ring.
Parcell 84, 85, 990, 91 and 92 A.
The Parcell directly on the lake are very small. Here is another igloo for children no longer possible.
For palfrey BibT is a beautiful place on separate volleyball.
There is a moderately-equipped playground at the beach, a volleyball allfeld, a net for badminton, table tennis and two plates.
For smaller children there is a daily entertainment of varying quality.
For larger adults Baby Around the Square offers nothing.
In the square there is a reed hut (Pommesbude) with some covered seating.
One building offers superior sanitation standards. The other two sanitary buildings reflect the charm of the 70s again. All sanitary facilities are clean and functional.
100 m next to the resort is a small boat harbor with Slipgelegenheit for smaller boats.
Larger boats and recreational craft in the marina must be in Plau geslippt be.
For a quiet beach holiday with small children, is the campsite.
Who as an adult or youth for some variety in the evening looks, this is completely wrong.
The camp staff on the "acclamation" is friendly and hilsbereit. Our request, two days before our original departure date to leave, was lamenting without charges and without immediately met and accepted.
The cycle path around the lake Plauer is also referred to as children is recommended. The cycle path directly on the lake is beautiful but quite sophisticated. Children come here to its limit.
We are a half a day round until Lenzer channel driven. From there we took the boat back to Plau driven. This is certainly the children with a better alternative.
On the next day we and the other half of the lake bypassed. Then again by boat to Plau. The Beschilderund of T 27 is in some places very weak. This not only have we felt so. The beautiful and vibrant city is definitely "Roebel" at the Müritz. At least the visit of Roebel worthwhile. At the campsite in Roebel, I can not report.
I hope I could one or the other things in the holiday choice some help.
Greeting
Jürgen Przybilla from Münster, NRW
