Review of Dennis from Brandenburg / Germany, July 2011

Age: 20-29 years
Length of stay: 1-3 Days

Dies ging vielen Camper‘n so.

We have been looking forward to a camping holiday on a year-round camping on the Baltic. The website promised much for a relaxing holiday in the winter (or March)! On arrival we were disappointed as to the said arrival time no one was present. We used the time to examine the square. Unfortunately, I really miss the right words to sound not abusive. I will spare myself the impressions and therefore what is seen. I tell you this much, we immediately searched about 25 km to a new and beautiful campsite!

And the reputation is ruined ...

Full of enthusiasm we began in August 2010 our camping holiday in Markgrafenheide. We had been here 9 years ago and had the place in a very good memory. But we should be bitterly disappointed.
The showers were really dirty, not just sand, and hair on the floor, but thick layers of dust and spider webs on the shower enclosures and at a level that would be accessible for diminutive cleaning staff. Temperature control is not and there is only lukewarm water is. The mirrors are partially blind and the sink, there is neither soap nor any opportunity to wipe the hands.
The many rotten buildings whose windows are partially wrapped or grow on their roofs, even small trees
or are sprayed with graffiti, also speak volumes. Just as the beach center (according to previous panel, funded by subsidies from the country Meck.-Pom., Federal and EU) that currently. still under construction (as reported to us an annual rent is on the site since
Three years, no further). Here, too, grows and grows the weeds between paving stones lying around, empty liquor bottles and
red and white barrier tape. In general, scattered all over the place is rubbish, because besides the huge disposal stations, there is little trash.
In addition, the space of a small goat pen. Sounds idyllic, it is not. The goats have to jump around on a huge pile of earth excavated, where the nettles grow that way. In the enclosure is still a little house and a transformer box is dropped on the door.
The little shop on the square does not look appealing. Elsewhere hang in the entrance inflatable air mattresses, dolphins and beach umbrellas, etc. need to attract bright colors. Not here. When you have finally found him, you frightened about the range. Empty shelves, wide aisles. Reminiscent of times, no one needs.
By the way, had beach bar, snack bar and Waldcafe already closed (in August no less). The store had reduced opening times, Saturday night was pitch-dark and there were no more Wednesday-Children's Disco. Nevertheless, we had to pay full price for the season.
During our vacation we also noticed that the permanent barrier was open and unguarded. The entrance and the two beach accesses were passable for two - and pet of any kind. Sun sharpened in the last night of several wild boars in our caravan (in the tent I would have made sure scare the pants).
In the end we were disappointed genuine. There is a shortage on front and back in service and staff. When I run in the bad reviews on the Internet read, I still thought that are all the carping have always something to complain. Until I discovered with dismay that these people really had a point.
As long as this place is left to itself and used only by the owners as money-printing machine ", is seen here with security again. Markgrafenheide had at some time a very good reputation is ruined if the first time, it is very difficult for him to be restored.

At the beginning and the end of my bike, I spent the night Baltic each a night on the campground Markrafenheide. Unfortunately also need walkers / cyclists with their mini tent with a plot to take power, though would last just a little place for the "dog house". The price is high. But what is absolutely inakzebtabel for me are the long delays in the arrival respectively. Deregistration. I am the evening came late, had to give my ID and got my parking space allocated. The next day we had to 12. Clock to be down. The first time (a Friday), it took me three quarters of an hour in order to pay may, at the second Time (a Saturday) 2 h !!!!! It was an endless line at the registration hut in the blazing sun (at 30 ° C) and there were only 2 of 3 "clearance places" occupied. The staff pays close attention to the only persons who entered the house, were currently being processed. When I was drann finally dared to come in but two men (on the inside, it was refreshing to cool outside), what my clerk moved to the statement that men should go out again but please, the air would otherwise be in it here so bad. ... I'm almost geplatz ... Something I have not experienced on any campsite

After crossing from Sweden, we would not like to rush home and put another one-night stopover, "said one at the campsite. min after at least 30th Queue, we have received a square (small caravan, two adults and one child) for violent € 36.50. Anyone who wants to search for a parking space itself can draufschlagen another 10%. For one night we did not want to build our cooking utensils. Therefore we have searched for a cooker on the pitch. In vain! Neither lounges or cooking facilities. Who wants to rinse should also consider that in the light, there are not illuminated at night the exterior flushing. In the shower one is also in the dark and after a while if no one from outside comes in, it's also not return, because the light is controlled by motion detectors. Toilet paper is only on receipt of a donor. Who has thus saved at top speed stands behind a door, or sit there stupid. If you want to wash their hands then maintained, this can make the basis of existing soap dispenser not only very half-hearted. So before going to the toilet an emergency package of toilet paper, soap and towel to dry hands to pack!. Comes from the sink as well as in the showers with hot water only fixed temperature, pour cold water on his face or take a refreshing dip in a cool shower is therefore not possible.
We were fortunately not in the situation, but baby's are probably not on this place absolutely welcome. Neither was a still a Babybademöglichkeit changing facilities available. As we arrived from Sweden and this is standard on any Camping of Vidy, like a soap dispenser at each washbasin, this is us just struck.
The only consolation: the beautiful sandy beach
The criticism may perhaps sound a little harsh, but you can ask for as much money a certain standard that is necessary but not here.

We were a family (kids 13 and 15 years) with the bike and spent the night in two small tents brought along. For two nights we had 92, - EUR + a premium (pay for what?) Of 7.40 EUR. In return, we got a parking space of 100 sqm, which we do not need. This was very uneven, and det space littered with small sticks. In addition, previous use had drawn drainage ditches.
For the price the showers were free, with the key for not improving the price / performance ratio leads. In the two sought-sanitary, there is no separation between the toilet and washing facilities. Also, there are no screens in the entrance between women's and men's field. Before one can not forget the toilet visits, to stock up on entrance with a sufficient amount of toilet paper. Most of the central role is wound too much down, so that in consequence, many dirty toilet cubicles surrounding paper. You should visit the toilet or the shower even in daylight. In the dark goes every few minutes from the light that the light is equipped with a timer in the toilet block. So, if there are no one who pressed the light switch, you groping in the Dismal. Furthermore, there is no cold water in the sanitary facilities (except toilet?). Anyone who wants to refresh with cold water (drinking or washing) must be at the individual sampling points distributed on the square (on parking lots operated). The existing supermarket on the campsite is very reminiscent of the old GDR. We are therefore driven to the shopping in Rostock and Warnemünde. Seating (benches), it is only at the reception. In our view, the prices are completely covered. We can in our power afforded the space not recommend him more and not worth visiting again.

10 years ago it was beautiful !!!!!

Review of Familie Witzmann from Thuringia / Germany, August 2010

We were the last two weeks in one of the homes on the campsite.
It went off right! After six hours we went, we wanted to unpack only one: in our house, and rest, but that was possible with obstacles: it was almost an hour in the queue at the reception was the staff there, overwhelmed and unfriendly. We previously had a few extras, such as fruit basket and a lawn chair asked, which we received only after we had drawn on it three times, and what has cost more than previously agreed. We were waiting already 14 there and had to clock up to 15 clock until we were allowed into houses. Why we must not merely previously declined to comment to the lady at the reception!
The house itself is very nice, cozy, and you have enough space. Only the stairs to the attic to sleep is quite steep and therefore unsuitable for children. The problem with the houses is the one is usually surrounded on all sides and can see each other here. If one has a house near the barn, one has to laugh on Wednesday and Saturday not to the lot and watch TV on these nights is not to think wirlich because as more and party is announced with too loud and terrible music. We went on vacation, at times even shut down.
The campsite supermarket is quite complicated and very expensive, but there is a cinema on the square, where more and more movies coming, it is very cheap and it changes every 2 days.
It has been close to the beach, there you have a totally beautiful view, clear water and a kilometer long beach, but is crowded during the summer months, like me, so you have to run around a little bit of a free place to finden.Es are on beach but unfortunately no toilet facilities.
It can be a lot to do in the area.
On departure, we felt totally stupid before, you must register in the days prior to the reception when the house is to be transferred, it is pointed out that if you do not already have a day rather wants to go home, although for the other day has paid for. With the acquisition, all controlled and eyed with us was as a spoon too much (!!!!!!) in the drawer since we were first told that another house and this probably has little need for wages and even though we times not knowing where the spoon is. And then only just opened at 8 clock, the reception, where you have to pay its electricity and still make the transfer document must.

Halfway across the cycle path Berlin - Copenhagen I wanted before the trip to Denmark or take a night. After a 115km bike ride, I arrived at night at the campsite and tried for 1 night bleiben.Die lady at the front desk told me the price and I almost fell from the faith ab.Für 1 person, 1 bike and 1 small tent should I 19.00 € bezahlen.Ich had already left some campsites behind me and as the most expensive to € 11.00. If I do not have as many miles would have been behind me, I would again umgedreht.Das piracy rates are clearly was.
The shower has yet to be paid extra time to come together ... so just 20-21 €.
The sanitary facilities are not at all durchdacht.Toiletten and washing facilities are all located in a large Raum.Während one to make fresh, pulls one of the stench of shit (sorry) of the other through the nose .. somehow you will leave this room again befuddled.
I was glad it had a delicious beer, and went full of expectation to the small Einkaufsladen.Dort were just empty cases of beer .... and stapelweise.Nicht "a" normal beer, one could still buy such a thing ... so I can do not understand ... who leads such a Geschäft.Mittlerweile was my mood at the zero point and I tried it in Restaurant.Nachdem I gave up my food order, the waitress told me that I wait another 10 minutes muß.Nach was my 20 minutes Food is still not there and I asked again nach.Mein food was simply forgotten and the cook wanted me now turn on instead of a pork cutlet Putenschnitzel ...
OK ... after 115 cycle has been hungry and I had everything genommen. Was came might have been tipping blindly into the dustbin.
Man .. so much crap in one day too!
As a consolation, at least, you could still buy beer there and the sugerierte cooling was not turned on. :-(
The next morning at 06:30 clock, I then looked back at the laundry and cleaning had not been there the previous day stattgefunden.Der filth was everywhere too sehen.Da the morning but starts to jump good ...
For me, it was clear from this date .... this camp I will never see her again.
For this price you have to get something different offered ... and I speak from 35 years of experience.
All this has annoyed me so that I have sworn to me during my further journey, here to proclaim my opinion.
Although the trend is changing and camping holiday is nothing more for poor people, you should still remain on the carpet.

Although a fine facility, including the sanitary facilities were ok, but just something for lovers of very loud and bad music as well as expensive!
Twice a week, the entire (huge) place the evening! to 22 clock! beschallt that small children can not sleep, the remaining days on the nearby campers.
If I so much money to pay for a campsite, I want above all: peace. This is not to be found here, so we will not come back.

Very unfriendly staff at reception. You pay even more than how it is in
Travel was booked. The cottages are cold and damp. Electricity is paid at the end, but the water is connected with the electricity (Heizbeuler). With young children it is not recommended. Not something cozy to sit on the baby or feeding and winding. Everything lovelessly established. No carpet or blankets to put on it, until the baby can crawl. Everything made uncharitable. We would not be with our daughter again hinfahren.Fahrradverleih in the park will cost a fortune. Bröttchen are aufgebagene

Prices are well let's say it properly. For Young people are not bad at least until 24:00 clock is then layer in the pit but who wants to celebrate should go to the beach and super people Geile Stimmung.

Good location, but expensive and cold

We were in October 2008 at the campsite. We had booked a holiday home. The facility is sufficient, but not the radiator. There were only a small electric heater in the large living room, which also was not performing. Thus, it was very cold. Our luck was that the radiator in the bathroom funktionierte.Für the exorbitant prices that are being demanded, we had extra money to pay electricity! Where is there so what? When I have the camper or the tent would stay, I would understand this, but nciht in a cottage. Especially since I consider this from other owners of the cottages are not absolutely know.
But the situation is excellent. Surrounded by woods and 2 minutes later on the beach. Then there was that we had very good weather. Pure sunshine.
The bread service is good, but why should we for a way to Bungalow 1 euro per person pay?
The "floor" is also not recommended. Nice staff, but Alt-oil smell.
We will not go camping reservations.

We were from 04.08.-08.08.08. with a caravan and a tent in this campground. Before our arrival, I had to d. answering d. Reception to make a reservation and asked to recall who did not. Once there, wanted my great son and his friend said the campground book, and had difficulties in paying with a debit card d.. The friend was politely pointed out. that his card would be OK and got the very Patzig answer that "they want their money."
The Paltz for the tent (in relation to price) was an unreasonable demand. Between the 2 trees hung up a large branch nearly to the ground and setting up the tent sher difficult, especially since it was very stormy and we were afraid that the branch might break. We asked for a new place and this was very unfriendly to us.
Now to the showers, with the corresponding shower cards. In the shower room is a Bedinungsanleitung to find the possible error on the map indicates. When attempting to me and my little daughter to take a shower it was then that the card no longer worked and I eingeseift under the dry shower is like stand.Der consumption GDR times very empty, messy and the maximum occupation with 2x human unreasonable.

We were on a weekend with the camper and a tent on the Baltic Sea and visited the campground Markgrafentheater heath. On arrival we were shocked by the prices. Let us for a night to pay 72 €. 5 Pers. + Tent + camper. After some inquiries, we were then a place is offered for 58 €. This was situated on the edge of the campsite which is not further disturbed us, because we were on an infant. On the square came the next surprise. The floor was completely uneven and full of sticks and branches. Hard to believe that it is up to his tent. We then have a reasonably adequate job.
The sanitary facilities caused the next displeasure. Although every few meters toilet houses, but they are not visible from the grounds closed. So we had a good 300m to get to a Toilettenhäusen menu. This was, however, so many guests used (since e SJA not very many of them there) that it received as a railway station. Toilet paper had to be at the entrance to get most of the floor was covered with wet dirt and noise ....
Another shortcoming was the garbage. Again, these were found only once every 300 meters and then they were so overcrowded that at high temperatures (we had over 28 degrees) smelled heavily.
And all for 72 € per night.
