Lovely campsite

Very quiet and well-maintained facility. One can easily walk to the beach (about 500m) and by DeHaan (about 2km walk along the beach). When I was there were mostly families and older permanent campers there.

Excursion tips: DeHaan

Savings camping in nice village

We were in the Whitsun holidays with our two children (3 and 8 years) for four days at the campsite Ter Duinen. Once we have this really ugly Zeebrugge port, including container and built Blankenberge would have had we have the fears that we have the Belgian coast may not offer much. The place de Haan, the most beautiful village of Flanders elected, but could repair everything.
The destination number one is certainly Bruges. The old Hanseatic city has been received and gives super Mitter age pure flair. Oostende is with the many concrete sins not been our thing, so we are not only equal but durchgefahren out. Very nice, as mentioned before, the campsite near the village De Haan. The renovated Bel-era houses and grand beach promenade are impressive. Despite the cold wind, we were able to enemies sand, the salty sea air and enjoy the clear light. Because of the beautiful city of Bruges and charming seaside resort of De Haan the neighborhood, I can 5 out of 5 stars enter.
Ter Duinen is a rather small campground with a lot of your Stacaravan Dauercampern inc. As far as I found out we were the only family! Otherwise, there were only pensioners. The toilets are clean, but everything costs extra. Showers and hot water washing, cost extra. In the toilets there was no toilet paper and no soap. The reception was friendly and even spoke German. There is no supermarket or bakery, so that, on the nearby supermarket Sunparks must dodge, which is relatively expensive. On the whole place is Kanninchen that nice place on the lollop. The atmosphere is friendly but somewhat repellent denoch. Overall, we can camp only 2 out of 5 stars enter.
Our pitch had electricity, no water and was slightly skewed, but this was well offset. Unfortunately the pitch was right next to the noisy street, and thus, unfortunately, not a night of undisturbed sleep possible. The place was completely overgrown with grass. Due to the road noise I can pitch, unfortunately, only 2 out of 5 stars enter.
At the campsite there is a playground behind with sand, which is relatively new and our children also has been used. Otherwise, the camp Ter Duinen no great recreational opportunities. Here one must be put back on the Sunparks facilities fall back. In addition to an indoor playground you will find a games room and a va adventure with slides, but the bathroom now and then something seemed schmudelig. With the help of the shooters I can Sunparks in Leisure 4 out of 5 stars awarded.
We have for 4 nights on the pitch with a caravan, car and 4 people paid around 84 euros, I was a relatively inexpensive grade. All in all, Camping Ter Duinen a good campsite, with good location, poor supply and not an ideal atmosphere. Bruges for tourists but it is certainly worth a consideration.
