Quiet, secluded, beautiful countryside, 21.08.2008

This is a lovely, somewhat ramshackle campsite that is perfect for getting some real relaxation. It is very shady and all of the pitches are under pine or chestnut trees. The pool is glorious - filled by the streams from the mounain so always fresh and cool. The sanitary blocks are adequate - cleaned very well eevry day and always with lots of hot water. The small naturist section is perfect to hide away fromn the world, with it own toilet block and cabin and access directly into the forest for walks among the trees and many many butterflies. The site is quite isolated and not very close to shops and entertainment, but for us this was a good thing. The surrounding are is full of places to go and visit and the scenery is very varied up and down the valley. Only about an hour from the coast and one of France's best beaches between Argeles and St Cyprien.

Le camping est situé sur un site magnifique, en pleine nature, au pied de la montagne et n'a que 50 emplacements pour 6 hectares.
Les arbres sont superbes, nombreux et variés, les emplacements sont ombragés et pas un ne ressemble à l'autre en raison de la disposition en terrasses.
Une petite rivière longe le camping et une grande piscine en béton peint alimentée en permanence par l'eau pure de la montagne permet de bonnes baignades.
Tous les mercredi le propriétaire, qui est super sympa organise l'apéro de bienvenue et la journée du pain qui a permis à mes enfants de réaliser leur propre pain et de le voir sortir d'un vrai four à bois.
POur finir je dirais que le calme et la quiétude sont la règle et que les campeurs sont en harmonie avec cette ambiance.
Nous le recommandons sans réserves.
