Der Platz hat ganzjährig geöffnet und liegt für eine Besichtigung von Catania recht günstig, das ist aber auch schon alles. Von den im ADAC-Campingführer angeführten 70 Standplätzen kann keine Rede sein, es finden vielleicht 20 bis 30 Wohnmobile oder Wohnwagen Platz. Der Campingplatz besteht zu 80 % aus sogenannten "Bungalows" und der gesamte Platz ist besonders eng. Die Sanitärgebäude sehen zwar von aussen recht ansehnlich aus, aber sowohl bei den Waschbecken als auch Geschirrspül- bzw. Wäschewaschbecken gibt es nur kaltes Wasser. Für dieses "hervorragende" Service ist der Preis für eine Nacht von € 20,50 besonders hoch. Aus unserer Sicht ist dieser Platz nicht empfehlenswert.
