Wir waren für eine Woche zum Wandern im Virgental. Der Campingplatz in Virgen ist schon was ganz Besonderes. Ganze 16 Stellplätze. Abseits von jeglichem Verkehrs- oder sonstigem Lärm in einer wunderschönen Berglandschaft. Die Sanitäranlagen sind gut ausgestattet und sauber. Ein toller Platz für Leute die auf Animationsprogramme verzichten können und mehr Freude an Ruhe, Landschaft und Wandern haben. Weniger geeignet für Kinder und wohl gar nicht für Jugendliche.

Small (20 places), grassy and nicely situated campingsite.
Limited playing facilities (see-saw, rack), close to river (bathing).
Staff is very friendly and organises great events for kids and mountain tours for adults/kids. For men and women one shower and toilet each. When the site is full this is just about adequate.
Excelent starting for mountain tours in Virgen and Defreggertal.
