Small square on the lake

Review of Klaus from Blaustein / Baden-Württemberg / Germany, September 2010
Language of the review:
Travel date: August 2010
Age: 40-49 years
Length of stay: 4-7 Days
Type of accommodation: Caravan (personal)
Booking: No previous booking

Actually, the place should be only a way station to us, however, has held the large space overlooking the lake, the narrow but clean pebbly beach and the small hot pool before a quick go on.

The sanitation facilities are top clean and more than sufficient. Well, the little shop is not a price-breaker, but with the car is in Lazise (4km) from the supermarket (Lidl) is not very far.

Lazise is unfortunately not easy to reach on foot, especially with young children. But the money for the big parking lot there, so you have previously saved the pitch several times, because the place is in comparison to the surrounding but very cheap (low season).

We will definitely come back!

Excursion tips: Lazise, Bardolino, Verona

Fossalta after 25 years

Review of gringo from Dingolfing / Bavaria / Germany, April 2009
Language of the review:
Review is based on the year: 2008

After I become 25 years in Fossalta vacation, so I must now abandon this campsite. The place and the facilities themselves are the prices reasonable, because there is nothing wrong in principle. Even 20 years ago as the ADAC Camping Fossalta this as one of the worst campsites had judged, we have the loyalty of our vacation kept us he really liked. (At that time even with a tent, young and short of money.)

A few years ago when a so-called Fossalta Reugeld introduced, ie deposit 100 Euro and 20, - Euro transfer fee, Western Union only and not EU transfers will be accepted. Since vacation costs money, take the 20, - Euro transfer fee reluctantly but in accordance with purchase. As a frequenter of the past nearly 20 years caused the course, an insipid taste, especially since no bookings in the long time from me, "offset" was. EU transfers would be in an EU country actually advised times. The 100, - Euro deposit are absolutely not an issue.

In April 2009 now, I wanted for 2 adults and 1 child book, 1 week as in the past 25 years. Meanwhile, a reservation only 2 weeks. As a working family, it is not always possible, just 2 weeks to make uninterrupted holidays, 1 weeks since we last. To my knowledge, also not common in Italy, not even in hotels on the sea. One gets the impression here inevitably, there will be only on commercial indications.

Therefore, we have after 25 years Fossalta their backs, a recommendation for the Elderly 2 weeks outside the school holiday season and have given time. It is a nice local place with good facilities, but for a family in the profession, holidays and necessitate budget is, unfortunately, is no longer recommended. The responsiveness and the service has been made in recent years, piecemeal wegrationalisiert.

Wonderful family place

Review of suanca from 85551 Kirchheim / Bavaria / Germany, April 2008

Fossalta Camping is a place to relax, quiet, directly on the lakeshore.

In the vicinity there are many entertainment options for children,

eg "Gardaland", "safari park", a water park, etc. The markets Peschiera (Monday), Lazise (Wednesday), Bardolino (Thursday) and Pacengo (Saturday)

are not far away. If the offer in the shop is not sufficient for the

There are a number of nearby supermarkets.
